FIGHTING TIGER BASEBALL DROPS DOUBLEHEADER TO SCHENECTADY

The SUNY Cobleskill men’s baseball program suffered a major setback in their quest for an NJCAA Region III Division III play-off bid yesterday losing to the Royals of Schenectady Community College in Schenectady, NY in Mountain Valley Conference play by scores of 10-3 and 7-4. The Fighting Tigers fall to 11-22 overall on the season with a 4-8 record in conference play. Cobleskill also drops to 8-10 versus NJCAA Region III Division III competition after the sweep.

Freshman catcher Casey Nacarlo, West Babylon, NY, West Babylon High School, went 2-for-3 with an RBI in the opener for the Fighting Tigers.

Cobleskill will close the regular season with a solo home game on Friday May 4th versus Mountain Valley Conference rival Columbia-Greene Community College at Fighting Tiger Field beginning at 2:00 PM.
