FIGHTING TIGER MEN’S BASKETBALL DROPS 87-78 DECISION TO CAYUGA
The road proved once again to be a tough place for the SUNY Cobleskill men’s basketball team as the young Fighting Tigers dropped an 87-78 decision to Cayuga Community College on the Spartans home court in Auburn, NY last night. The loss drops Cobleskill to 1-2 overall on the season.
Freshman forward Stanley Francois, Valley Cottage, NY, Suffern High School, led the Fighting Tiger attack with a career high 20 points to go with nine rebounds and two blocked shots while freshman forward Anthony Armstead, Schenectady, NY, Schenectady High School, tallied 18 points to go with six rebounds. Senior swingman Devon Moore, Brooklyn, NY, Family Academy High School, also turned in a solid effort on the evening with 12 points and six rebounds.
Cobleskill will continue their extended road swing on Saturday November 11th when they travel to Plattsburgh, NY to meet the Cougars of Clinton Community College with tip-off set for 1:00 PM.
