FIGHTING TIGER MEN DROP 56-52 ROAD DECISION TO BROOME CC

The SUNY Cobleskill men’s basketball team could not hold a 33-23 half time advantage dropping a 56-52 decision to Broome Community College on the Hornet’s home court in Binghamton, NY on Tuesday evening. The Fighting Tigers who had entered the contest ranked third in the latest NJCAA Division III National Poll fall to 7-1 overall on the season.

Senior power forward Anthony Armstead, Schenectady, NY, Schenectady High School, and freshman guard Matt Williams, Mt. Kisco, NY, Fox Lane High School, each scored 12 points on the evening for Cobleskill.

The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Friday November 30th when they travel to Troy, NY, to meet the Vikings of Hudson Valley Community College for a Mountain Valley Conference contest beginning at 7:00 PM. The Vikings are currently ranked number one in the current NJCAA Division III National Poll.
