SUNY COBLESKILL BASKETBALL FANS CAN FOLLOW NJCAA MEN’S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT GAMES VIA INTERNET

SUNY Cobleskill basketball fans can follow the Fighting Tigers men’s basketball team throughout the 2008 NJCAA Division III National Championship Tournament hosted by SUNY Delhi in Delhi, NY from Thursday March 13th thru Saturday March 15th via the internet through the tournament’s official website at http://www.championships-delhi.org through the NJCAA’s website at http://www.njcaa.org/.

The tournament will also be webcast via Cybersports USA at a cost of $10 for the entire event. The Fighting Tiger men will open the tournament on Thursday March 13th when they play in the quarterfinal round at 8:00 PM. The Fighting Tigers, 25-6, will meet the nation’s number two ranked team the Colts of Middlesex Community College of Edison, NJ who are currently 27-3 on the year and are the NJCAA Region XIX Champions.

Tickets are also now on sale for the tournament to be held on Thursday March 13th, Friday March 14th, and Saturday March 15th, in the Floyd L. Maines Arena of the Clark Field House, on the SUNY Delhi campus. Tournament passes can be purchased through the SUNY Delhi Athletics Department, the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce and Mable’s Insurance in Delhi, NY. Passes may also be reserved by calling (607) 746-4675. Passes are $25 for adults and $15 for students with guaranteed admission and reserved seating for all 12 tournament games. Single session tickets, a choice of admission to either two afternoon or two evening games, will be sold daily at the door ($8 for adults and $6 for students) depending on space availability.

Through a special arrangement between SUNY Cobleskill and SUNY Delhi; Cobleskill students will be admitted free to the Fighting Tigers men’s basketball team’s quarterfinal round national tournament game versus Middlesex Community College Thursday March 13th beginning at 8:00 PM for free by presenting a valid SUNY Cobleskill ID Card at the arena’s box office.
