COBLESKILL MEN DROP 77-72 DECISION TO MOHAWK VALLEY

The SUNY Cobleskill men’s basketball team dropped a 77-72 decision to Mohawk Valley Community College in Mountain Valley Conference play last night in Utica, NY. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers season record to 22-5 on the year with an 11-4 mark in conference play.

Freshman guard Michael Knight, Spring Valley, NY, Spring Valley High School, scored a career high of 18 points in defeat for the Fighting Tigers while senior forward Stanley Francois, Valley Cottage, NY, Suffern High School, added 14 points and 13 rebounds on the evening. Senior center Kyle Mitchell, Hadley, NY, Hadley-Luzerne High School, also equaled his career scoring high with 13 points on the night for the Orange & Black.

The Fighting Tigers will close the regular season on Friday February 22nd when they host the nation’s number one ranked team, the Vikings of Hudson Valley Community College for a Mountain Valley Conference contest beginning at 7:00 PM.
