WEMSSEN NAMED SUNY COBLESKILL MEN’S LACROSSE MOST VALUABLE PLAYER

SUNY Cobleskill men’s lacrosse team member freshman Brendan Wemssen, Seaford, NY, Seaford High School, has been named the program’s Most Valuable Player for the 2008 season. Wemssen received his award at college’s 2008 Athletic Awards Convocation. The Fighting Tigers finished the season with a 7-7 overall record the program’s best season record since the 1993 season.

During the campaign, the freshman attackman scored 39 goals and passed out 13 assists for the Fighting Tigers finishing the season with 52 points.
