FIGHTING TIGER LACROSSE FALLS TO HVCC 11-8 IN MOUNTAIN VALLEY CONFERENCE PLAY

The SUNY Cobleskill men’s lacrosse team dropped an 11-8 road decision to Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY on Wednesday afternoon in Mountain Valley Conference play. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 2-5 overall on the season with a 0-2 mark in MVC action.

Freshman attackman Brendan Wemssen, Seaford, NY, Seaford High School, scored four goals for the Fighting Tigers while senior attackman Matt Hughes, Wallkill, NY, Wallkill High School, added a goal and three assists on the afternoon.

Cobleskill will next be in action on Saturday April 12th when they travel to Erie, PA to take on Mercyhurst Northeast College beginning at 1:00 PM.
