COBLESKILL LAX DROPS 13-6 DECISION TO #8 RANKED ANNE ARUNDEL

The SUNY Cobleskill men’s lacrosse program suffered their second consecutive loss to a nationally ranked NJCAA program on Wednesday dropping a 13-6 decision to number eight ranked Anne Arundel Community College last night on the Pioneers home turf in Arnold, MD. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 1-2 overall on the season.

Freshman attackman Brendan Wemssen, Seaford, NY, Seaford High School, did the majority of the damage for the Cobleskill offense posting four goals and an assist on the evening for the Orange & Black. Senior midfield Andrew Abbott, Onondaga, NY, Corcoran High School, had a goal and an assist in the contest while freshman midfielder Matt Pierce, Ogdensburg, NY, Heuvelton High School, rounded out the scoring with a goal.

The Fighting Tigers will take a day off to travel before taking on Globe Institute of Technology on Saturday March 15th in New York, NY beginning at 1:00 PM.
