CUNNINGHAM NAMED FIGHTING TIGER ATHLETE-OF-THE-WEEK

The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department announced today that freshman Tom Cunningham, Skaneateles, NY, Skaneateles High School, a member of the college’s men’s lacrosse team has been named the athletic program’s Athlete-of-the-Week.

The freshman midfielder exploded for nine goals and three assists to lead the Fighting Tigers to a season ending 23-11 victory over visiting Mohawk Valley Community College on Friday in Mountain Valley Conference play. Cunningham led Cobleskill in scoring this season with 23 goals and seven assists on the season for a total of 30 points.
 
The Fighting Tigers close the 2005 season with a 1-9 overall record and a 1-5 mark in Mountain Valley Conference play.
