The NJCAA Region III Service Bureau announced today that SUNY Cobleskill senior men’s swimmer Matt Hatlee, Cobleskill, NY, Schoharie High School, has been named the NJCAA Region III Male-Athlete-of-the-Week.

Hatlee led the Cobleskill men’s swimming & diving team to a second place finish on Wednesday January 31st at the Herkimer Community College Invitational hosted by Herkimer Community College in Herkimer, NY and then helped take the team to a second place finish at the SUNY Delhi Invitational hosted by SUNY Delhi in Delhi, NY on Saturday February 3rd. The Fighting Tiger senior won the 100 Butterfly, 1:00.28, and the 200 Individual Medley, 2:13.47, at Herkimer on Wednesday then captured the 50 Freestyle, 23.04, the 100 Freestyle, 51.95, and the 100 Breaststroke, 1:11.03, at Delhi on Saturday.

The Fighting Tigers will next compete at the 2007 NJCAA Northeastern District Championships hosted by Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY from Friday February 9th through Sunday February 11th.
