ADAMOSCHEK NAMED FIGHTING TIGER ATHLETE-OF-THE-WEEK

The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department announced today that senior Sam Adamoschek, Canajoharie, NY, Canajoharie High School, a member of the men’s swimming & diving program has been named the athletic program’s Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-Week.

Adamoschek met NJCAA National Qualifying Standards in the 50 Freestyle, 26.03 seconds, and the 100 Freestyle, 58.90 seconds, at the 2007 Herkimer Fall Invitational hosted by Herkimer Community College in Herkimer, NY on Saturday. The Canajoharie High School alumnus also placed fourth in the 100 Breaststroke in a time of 1:30.01 as the Cobleskill men posted a team score of 36 points to place third in the event.

The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Saturday January 19th when they travel to Buffalo, NY for the Erie Community College Invitational beginning at 1:00 PM.
