SEAMON NAMED 2004 SUNY COBLESKILL TRACK & FIELD MOST VALUABLE
Freshman Kane Seamon, Richfield Springs, NY, Richfield Springs High School, has been named the SUNY Cobleskill track & field program’s 2004 Most-Valuable-Athlete. Seamon was presented his award by Fighting Tiger Head Coach Brad Fichthorn at the college’s recent annual Athletic Awards Convocation.
Seamon won the NJCAA Division III individual championship in the 10,000 Meters at the 2004 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Delhi, NY this past spring to earn All-American honors. He also placed fifth in the 5000 Meters and 6th in the 3000 Meter Steeplechase for the Fighting Tigers at the nationals.
The Richfield Springs native also established new Cobleskill program records indoors in the 3000 Meters and the 5000 Meters.
