FIGHTING TIGER SOFTBALL LOSES DOUBLEHEADER TO ACC

The SUNY Cobleskill women’s softball team dropped a Mountain Valley Conference doubleheader yesterday at Fighting Tiger Park to visiting Adirondack Community College by scores of 9-5 and 9-2. The losses drop the Cobleskill season record to 4-16 on the year with a 3-11 mark versus conference competition.

Senior rightfielder Sharon Fitzgerald, Greenville, NY, Greenville High School, once again continued to be an offensive standout for the Fighting Tigers going 3-for-5 in the doubleheader with three RBI and a run scored on the day.

The Fighting Tigers will close the regular season on Sunday May 6th when they host North Country Community College at Fighting Tiger Park beginning at 1:00 PM.
