CONTINUING STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Mr. & Mrs. Steven M. Ackerknecht Scholarship - Continuing Equine Major who has demonstrated financial need, academic promise and has been actively involved in student leadership initiatives. Preferred GPA of a least 2.5.
Andy Bates Scholarship - Continuing students in Agricultural Engineering or Turfgrass Management who have completed 30 or more college credits and have a 2.5 or higher cumulative average at SUNY Cobleskill. Awarded to students who display potential for making a positive contribution to the agricultural engineering and/or turfgrass industry. Possess a high interest in golf course equipment design, manufacturing, and use. Outstanding campus citizen.
Joanne Signor Braman Science Scholarship - Applicant must be a student in Biotechnology, Chemical Technology, Histotechnology or Health Science Studies who has completed two semesters with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicant must be active in college and civic activities.
William Brophy Scholarship - Scholarship will be awarded to a continuing student in the Business Division with 2.75 GPA or greater. The recipient should demonstrate academic promise.
Walter J. Clark College Foundation BT Scholarship - For continuing or internal transfer Bachelor of Technology students in an Agricultural & Natural Resources major. Students must have a 3.25 or higher college GPA and demonstrate active involvement in SUNY Cobleskill college and student activities. Student financial need will also be considered.
Cobleskill Auxiliary Services Scholarship - Continuing student who received one of the following scholarships: Wheeler, Alumni Margin of Excellence, or Student Ambassador.7.
Dewar Foundation District Scholarship (renewable) - Applicant must be a resident of the City and Town of Oneonta or the Town of Milford, Laurens, Maryland or Otego in Otsego County or the Town of Davenport in Delaware County. Criteria will be based mainly on academic performance.
Marcia Hammond Germain Scholarship - Selection based on academic achievement, college and community service and financial need.
Greenlees Scholarship - Continuing student majoring in Business and Computer Technologies.
William and Peter Haughton Memorial Scholarship - Agriculture continuing associate majoring in Equine with concentration on work performed in the equine industry during the summer between freshman and senior year.
Albert "Nick" Iorio Community Service Scholarship - Continuing seniors who have completed a minimum of two semesters at SUNY Cobleskill. Awarded to students who by their actions and volunteer leadership, improve the quality of life on the college campus and in the Cobleskill community. Recipients shall be outstanding campus citizens.
Merrill Family Foundation Scholarship - Continuing students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance and active citizenship in the college and/or the community. APPLICANTS MUST FILL OUT SUPPLEMENTAL APPLICATION AVAILABLE AT THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE, KNAPP HALL, ROOM 118B.
Gerald E. and Richard Schopinsky Scholarship - Incoming and continuing students in an Associates or Bachelors Degree programs based on academic performance and community service.
Ingrid L. Shepard Scholarship - Continuing Plant Science student with at least a 2.5 GPA, academic promise and leadership skills.
Matt Tweedie Scholarship - Continuing Ag major in the AAS or Bachelors program who is an active and participating member of the American Animal Producers Club. Student must have at least a 2.5 GPA. Preference given to those with a financial need and to former or current 4-H and FFA members. A 500 word essay (stating ideals, goals, future endeavors and how will degree at Cobleskill be used for future growth) is also required.
Zeta Alpha Phi (ZAP) Scholarship - Applicant must be a continuing student and a dependent of a Cobleskill ZAP brother; GPA 2.75 or higher.
