- Wildlife Management, B.T.
Overview
The Wildlife Management B.T. degree was created to allow Fisheries and Wildlife Technology students in the two-year degree program to specialize in wildlife at the four-year level. Courses in this program were designed to increase the marketability of students in this competitive field.
A strong background in areas such as wetlands and ornithology prepares students well for the most promising career opportunities with private environmental consulting firms as well as state or federal government agencies. Students have the opportunity to meet wildlife biologist certification requirements of The Wildlife Society and are encouraged to become active in the official SUNY Cobleskill student chapter of The Wildlife Society.
