Annual Foundation Dinner Dance to Raise Funds for SUNY Cobleskill Scholarships

The 24th Annual SUNY Cobleskill Foundation Dinner Dance will be held Friday, April 4 from 6 to 11 p.m. in the college’s Bouck Hall Ballroom.  The annual fundraiser raises money for Schoharie County Community Scholarships and will feature live and silent auctions of donated items.

Auction highlights include a weekend for two at the Old Tavern at Grafton in Vermont, a signed painting of Schoharie Creek by artist Christine Wright, an elegant faceted Herkimer Diamond Circle of Life necklace and matching earrings in 14 karat gold, and a framed Great Horned Owl photo by SUNY Cobleskill Associate Professor of Wildlife Management Kevin Berner .

A champagne welcome and hors d’ouevres will be followed by a dinner featuring New York state produce and products prepared by Cobleskill Auxiliary Services’ Dining Services and students in the college’s Culinary Arts program.   Entertainment will be provided by DJ Joe Napolitano and the SUNY Cobleskill Choir.  SUNY Cobleskill plant science students will transform the ballroom with luscious flowers, creating a spring garden.

The event is made possible through generous corporate sponsorships and underwriting. Sterling Insurance Company sponsored the auction, Support Service Alliance Inc. sponsored the champagne welcome, entertainment was sponsored by Key Bank N.A., NBT Bank is the hors d’ouevres sponsor. Corporate underwriters at the Sugar Maple sponsorship level are the Bank of Richmondville and Fenimore Asset Management; at the Red Maple level the Oneonta Bus Lines/ Eastern Travel; and at the Silver Maple level is Antonucci Wholesale Produce Inc., Falls Earth Station Inc., First New York Federal Credit Union, Kenneth Fake Agency and M/E Engineering, PC.
