  • Ichthyological Associates: fisheries surveys and in-stream flow studies
  • Wyoming Game and Fish Department: conducted studies on the impacts of energy development on big game species and censuses of colonial nesting waterbirds
  • Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks Department: Operated big game check stations
  • Nebraska Game and Parks Commission: conducted research on pheasant nesting success under different agricultural practices
  • U.S. Forest Service - Helena National Forest, Montana: mapped grizzly bear habitat and documented black and grizzly bear habitat use
  • University of Montana: Taught ecology labs
  • Bureau of Land Management: monitored range land condition
  • U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service/Shoshone and Arapahoe Tribes: conducted studies of big game habitats
  • Colorado Division of Wildlife: conducted research on mule deer (impacts of winter recreation on deer, maintenance energy studies, and census techniques) and sage grouse
  • U.S. Forest Service - White River National Forest, Colorado: conducted fish and wildlife habitat surveys
