VICE PRESIDENT FOR ADVANCEMENT

The State University of New York at Cobleskill is preparing for its “second century” as it completes the transition to a primarily baccalaureate culture. Building on its commitment to “real life – real learning”, the campus is refocusing its efforts in ways that will find our stake holders always choosing to “call us first”. To these ends, we are prepared to redeploy many positions in the “advancement area” including development, alumni, community affairs, marketing, public relations, and sponsored projects. In addition, we are looking to fill a vacancy for our most senior advancement person and may add a second position to support specific “second century” endeavors. Position descriptions and titles will depend on the knowledge and skill sets of our finalists.

This is a rare opportunity, which should be particularly attractive to seasoned advancement, marketing and related professionals who grasp the “big picture” without losing attention to detail. Please review these preferred qualifications and consider starting the dialogue that may result in SUNY Cobleskill’s movement forward with you, and/or colleagues you’ve recommended, as part of the team.
