Each year many students who enroll at SUNY Cobleskill are unsure about which academic program best suits their needs and interests. Exploratory Studies provides the opportunity for these students to make a more informed decision about the selection of a specific major.
Exploratory Studies is designed to allow students to sample courses from a variety of areas before declaring their program of study. Enhanced career and educational advisement is available, as well as a special course designed to assist Exploratory students in making those more informed decisions when choosing their future majors.
Exploratory Studies will provide students with career and study counseling by dedicated and knowledgeable faculty advisors. Professionals in the Career Development Center will also assist students in resolving issues of career choice, placement prospects and college transfer.
