Dr. Anthony Corsini
Dr. Anthony (Tony) Corsini graduated from the SUNY Cobleskill Histotechnology Program in August, 1985, after completing his clinical experience at Albany Medical Center. He then transferred to the (closely related) B.S. Cytotechnology program at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. After receiving his bachelor's (1986), he became a staff cytotechnologist at Path Laboratories Inc, in Rochester, NH, and then moved on to the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Syracuse as a Supervisory Cytotechnologist.
Tony, being deeply interested in the medical field, then pursued his MHS in the field of Pathology Assistant and graduated in 1991. His next position as a Pathology Assistant took him to sunny Palm Beach, FL at Palm Beach Pathology. Tony began his education as a medical doctor the following year at the SouthEastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated with his medical degree in 1996. Tony also did an internship in Psychiatry in Bethesda.
Dr. Corsini practiced medicine at the Marine Corps Air Station at Cherry Point, NC. Two years later, Tony's search for knowledge led him to the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. "Tony's career has been characterized by persistence and a love of learning. He was always an enthusiastic student," said Professor Emeritus Ann Marie Behling, founder of the Histotechnology Program and the Behling Center at SUNY Cobleskill.
