Schoharie County Home of Ongoing Learning (SCHOOL)
Schoharie County Home of Ongoing Learning (SCHOOL) is a non-profit, participatory organization of persons committed to life-long learning. It is dedicated to meeting the intellectual and cultural needs of its members through shared learning experiences. Daytime, non-credit classes are offered on the SUNY Cobleskill campus and led by volunteers. Classes run September through mid-November and mid-March through May.
- Classes usually meet once a week
- Class size is limited to 20 - 25 students
- Class length is 60 - 75 minutes
- No tests! No paper!
- Some classes will have specific instructors,
others will have a discussion leader - Tuition for the initial year is $55 per learner
- Gift certificates are available
- Campus parking permits are issued
- Travel to sites off campus is the student’s responsibility
- Semesters are 8 weeks long
