SUNY Cobleskill Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Culinary Arts is designed to accommodate the associate degree student with an educational opportunity that will lead to a Bachelor's degree with additional knowledge of management and culinary arts. This degree is offered with the expertise of faculty in the Culinary Arts, Hospitality and Tourism Department and the Business and Computer Technology Department at SUNY Cobleskill.

This program is for students that have earned Associate degrees in restaurant management, foodservice management, institutional foods, or culinary arts and are interested in pursuing additional study of management to enhance their career opportunities.

Often students completing associates degrees are faced with challenges as they attempt to transfer into Colleges offering 4-year Baccalaureate programs in the liberal arts and sciences. The SUNY Cobleskill faculty designed a Baccalaureate program that maximizes the recognition of the knowledge and skills learned in an associate's degree program as the BBA was developed. Most transfer students with an appropriate associate's degree will complete the BBA at SUNY Cobleskill in 2 years of additional study. The Baccalaureate program adds to the students' knowledge and skill base opening career possibilities in management of restaurants, institutional foodservices, and hotels and resorts.

The goal of the BBA - Technology Management in the Culinary Arts is to provide students with skills in management so they can begin supervisory careers in food service and the restaurant industry. The BBA graduate will be able to:
