Students will acquire the knowledge and skills in applied technology, management, communications and critical thinking which will allow them to solve tomorrow's technology problems and become sustainable and productive members of society. Students will be engaged in activities that promote life-long learning, team-building, self-directed learning and cooperative work experiences. SUNY Cobleskill will provide a caring and mentored environment which will allow each student to reach his or her maximum potential.



Computer Information Systems and Information Technology

Today's organizations, both public and private, confront an increasingly competitive environment which places a premium on having ready access to critical data in order to maintain its strategic advantage. The field of Computer Information Systems (CIS) and Information Technology (IT) focuses on the study and implementation of modern Information Systems which allow today's organizations to achieve its operational goals.

Students engage in a program of study which allows them to develop technical and organizational skills along with an insight into business processes required to analyze, design, implement and administer information systems.

 SUNY Cobleskill offers a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology along with several Associate in Science and Applied Associate in Science programs. Students successfully completing the Bachelor of Technology program can expect employment as
