Professor Burton teaches courses such as Entrepreneurship, Business Law I and II, Management, Management Policies and Issues, and Advertising.  She has a Master of Science degree in Student Personnel in Higher Education, Master of Science degree in Business Management, and a Bachelor of Education degree in Education.  Professor Burton also has a Certificate from Empire State Travel School for Travel Consultant and a Certificate from University of Madrid for General Studies.

Professor DaVis is currently serving as the Chair, Business Administration and Accounting Department.  For the last nineteen years he has been a faculty member in the School of Business at Cobleskill.  Prior to this, he was a faculty member in the School of Business at Grambling State University (Louisiana), and Lincoln University (Missouri).

Professor DaVis' non-academic experience includes employment with Milliken, Inc. (Spartanburg, SC) as an Industrial Engineer in the Texturizing Division, Manager with Skaggs Drug Stores (Spokane, WA), and served with the Peace Corps in Latin America doing agricultural research and developing 'potential' foreign markets for native made handicraft products.  He spent one year as an Independent Market Researcher (Spokane, WA).  Additionally, he served a four-year tour with the U.S. Navy both ashore and at sea.

Professor Gemmiti is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Planner®, and Certified Mutual Fund Specialist with a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Siena College and Masters degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech (a proud Hokie!). He worked for KPMG Peat Marwick for six years in the tax department and has over twenty years of college teaching experience. Mr. Gemmiti has taught a variety of Accounting and Financial Services courses including: Financial, Managerial, and Intermediate Accounting, Introduction to Financial Planning, Tax Planning, and Financial Management.

Professor Moran is Professor of Business Administration and the founding Director of the Financial Planning Program and The Center for Collaborative Sustainability.  He is Chair of the Curriculum Committee and a member of the Faculty Executive Committee.  He teaches Investment Planning, Estate Planning, Introduction to Financial Planning, Risk Management & Insurance Planning, Employee Benefits & Retirement Planning, Business Law I & II, Management Communications, Human Resource Management, and an honor's course - The Age of Possibilities.   He was previously a professor at The College of New Jersey and Bucknell University.

His professional career in financial services spans 40 years, including Pension Trust officer of The Chase Manhattan Bank and Senior Vice President of Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company (both now part of JP Morgan Chase); Chairman, President and CEO of Lionel D. Edie and Company, Inc. (then the 15th largest money manager in the US) and founding President of Government Securities Clearing Corporation.  During that time he represented the 14,000 US banks in testimony before the US Senate, House and various regulatory agencies on 25 occasions on retirement, securities and other issues.

Effective January 1, 2008, he has been elected to the Board of Directors of the CFP® Board of Standards and chairs its Audit, Finance, and Investment Committee.  He is the past Chair of the Ethics Committee and the Government Relations Committee of the Financial Planning Association and served on the ICFP and FPA Board of Directors.

Dr. Moran's research interests focus on corporate governance and alternative models for collaboration.  He currently teaches Ethics in the Business Organization and Corporate Governance at New York University and International Corporate Governance and Organizations, Management Behavior and Economics at Harvard University.

He has a long term commitment to the environment, serving for many years as the Chair of INFORM Inc. (an environmental research organization in New York) and currently on the SUNY Cobleskill Bioenergy Advisory Team - an innovative effort to convert multiple bio-waste streams into energy.  He is a member of the Board of Directors and a consultant with Community Partners, the arm of the Harvard Business School Club of NY that provides consulting services on strategic planning, governance and other issues for non-profit organizations.

Professor Rooney is a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and a Master's Degree in Curriculum Design and Instructional Technology.   She worked for the Internal Revenue Service for three years where she received extensive training in all aspects of individual and business tax law.  As an internal auditor with the City of Phoenix for 13 years, she gained experience in forensic accounting and not for profit accounting.  She has a Masters Degree in Education and over six years of experience teaching a wide variety of accounting classes.  She currently teaches Financial, Managerial, Intermediate, Not for Profit and Cost Accounting classes.

Professor Simpson has a varied background in management, human relations, communications, marketing, teacher education, real estate, and sales.  He currently teaches Business Communications, Management in the classroom and on-line, Advertising and Promotions, Human Resources Management, Strategic Management for Quality and provides an Internship in Business Administration on the undergraduate level.  He is active in professional associations having served as president of Business Teachers Association of New York State, New York Association of Educational Associations, and New York State Association for Career and Technical Education.  He currently is on the Advisory Council of NYSACTE serving as chairperson of the Public Information Committee and Committee on Constitution and By-Laws.

Professor Schwarzenegger has broad and extensive experience in many areas of technology. He worked for six years as a Research Associate for Bell Laboratories and published many articles in the area of Low-Energy and Plasma Physics. Following his employment with AT&T, he became an Oilfield Systems Engineer with Schlumberger Well Services during which time he was conducted exploration and evaluation of oil and gas reservoirs throughout the Western United States and Gulf of Mexico. Following his return to the Northeast, he started a consulting firm specializing in designing and installing computer-based information systems in the New York City region. His current interest is in the field of Information Security and Digital Forensics.
