MATH 125 - Statistics (C)

A basic course in general statistics with applications in the fields of business and the natural, behavioral and social sciences. Elementary probability theory and descriptive statistics are introduced, but the emphasis is on inferential statistics including significance tests, confidence intervals, and linear regression and correlation. Prerequisite: placement per high school transcript, MATH111 or above, or by permission of the Mathematics Department. [Fall, Spring]
