PSCI 303 - Field Geology

This course is designed to improve geological skills through direct observation of geologic phenomena in the field. Activities for this course will include walks in the field, a modicum of hill climbing, and time spent at roadside outcrops. Mapping exercises will be combined with field trips to explore the geologic history of New York. The course takes advantage of the Saturday modular schedule and runs for 8 consecutive weeks, 6 hours per weekend.
