Turfgrass Management – Sports Turf (B.T.)

SUNY Cobleskill offer a BT in Sports Turf Management.  Graduates of the Sports Turf Program are currently managing athletic facilities at Florida State, Randall’s Island Sports Complex in NYC and College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. Student internships have included the New York Giant’s training camp, the Baltimore Orioles and several other major and minor league facilities. Sports Turf students are prepared to manage recreational facilities in both the private and public sectors. There is a strong demand for sports turf professionals to manage college and high school athletic facilities, parks, athletic complexes and similar facilities. The College has excellent turfgrass facilities for hands on work including plots and athletic fields.  Projects to improve local athletic are also available. Low student-to-faculty ratios and a campus mission that focuses on teaching creates a student friendly-environment at SUNY Cobleskill.
