- What Are The International Admission Requirements?
The College welcomes applications from students of other countries. A student who is not a citizen or permanent resident of the United States will be considered an international student. Students will be expected to be proficient in both written and spoken English, and have the ability to pay for all educational and personal expenses.
To be considered for admission, international students should submit to the Office of Admissions: a completed SUNY application along with a non-refundable application fee; an official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score report if English is not the student's native language with a minimum 500 score for paper based version and 173 for computer based version; official secondary and postsecondary transcripts (with certified English translations, if appropriate); and a completed SUNY Foreign Student Financial Statement. Upon completion of all admission requirements, a Certificate of Eligibility (I-20) will be issued to the student.
