Air Transportation to Albany, NY
We recommend that you fly into Albany International Airport (ALB). That is the closest airport to SUNY Cobleskill. However, some international students arrive in the U.S. at John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport in New York City or Newark (EWR) Liberty International Airport in New Jersey. It is best to fly to Albany if you first arrive in Newark. While going through U.S. Customs upon arrival in the U.S., be sure to have your passport and I-20 student visa available to show U.S. Customs officials. You will need to claim your luggage and walk through U.S. Customs before rechecking your luggage again if you are flying to Albany International Airport.
