Degree Requirements
To fulfill the requirements for the Bachelor of Technology degree in Plant Science, the candidate must complete 126 credit hours with a minimum of 44 credit hours of major field requirements, 26 credit hours of technical electives, 36 credit hours of liberal arts and science courses, and 20 credit hours of general electives with a GPA of not less than 2.00.

Technical Electives
26 credits. Courses with the following prefixes: ACCT, AGBU, AGEN, AGRN, AGSC, ANSC, BADM, BIOL, CITA, ENHT, FSMS, FWLD, ORHT or RECM (Include 6 credits of upper-division courses).
Liberal Arts and Sciences Requirements
36 credits. Includes 6 credits of upper-division courses. May not include MATH 101X or MATH 101. B. Tech students must complete 3 credits in 8 of 10 areas of the Trustees' General Education Core Requirements.
