Agricultural Communications Concentration Overview

The Agricultural Business - Agricultural Communications Concentration gives students expanded opportunities for post-graduation employment. Students will leave with a good working knowledge of agricultural business, issues in agriculture, as well as significant communications skills in areas such as journalism, documentary production and technical writing. These skills will prepare a student for working as a journalist or freelance writer for agricultural publications, for editing in-house publications, for public relations and marketing, as well as for sales.

Communications is one of the fastest growing areas today, and graduates who can combine good communications skills with knowledge of a specific field of study will find they have the flexibility needed for the workplace of the future.
