Brickyard Point | SUNY Cobleskill

Brickyard Point is the student union for the campus. The facility provides programming opportunities for students, 7 nights a week. The facility is under the supervision of the Residential Life department. Brickyard Point also provides leadership opportunities for students through several student staff positions.

Hours of operation for Spring 2013 semester are the following:

General Hours of Operation
Sunday-Thursday: 7pm-12am
Friday-Saturday: 7pm-2am

Football Season Hours of Operation
Sunday: 12pm-12am

Programs

Every night of the week we provide programming opportunities for students. Our programming varies every night in an effort to have a well-rounded programming schedule that offers something for everyone. In addition to our nightly programming, Brickyard Point offers many open recreation opportunities for students. Brickyard Point offers two full size pool tables with free pool equipment, a 90” TV with 16 seats perfect for movies and video games, and a foosball table. Brickyard Point has a dance floor located in its lower level, along with a fully functioning DJ booth. During the year BYP also provides WWE PayPerView events, UFC PayPerView events, and Major Boxing Bouts, along with carrying the NFL Sunday Ticket during the fall semester.

Food Selection

Every night Brickyard Point has a large selection of snack food that students can purchase with cash or Coby Cash. Brickyard Point also sells candy, soda, energy drinks, and water. During the year, Brickyard Point offers occasional events such as an NFL tailgate party and other programs where we will provide food/snacks for the students free of charge.

Brickyard Point Staffing
Brickyard Point is an establishment that is run for students, by students. Overseen by Residential Life, Brickyard Point is designated as a place where students can go for fun, to relax, and to be themselves. The hard working and welcoming student staff at Brickyard Point are key to the success of its operation.
