The following list is provided to you by the Residential Life Office for your convenience.
This list is for informational purposes only and does not suggest approval for any housing unit. SUNY Cobleskill does not inspect, have knowledge of, or recommend any of the following housing options.
Be sure to visit and inspect any unit you are interested in prior to making a lease arrangement. If you are concerned about the safety/security of any listed units, contact the local authorities. SUNY Cobleskill does not become a party to private landlord-tenant matters.
ATTENTION LANDLORDS!
We require property owners to submit a Safety Certificate, every three years, for each unit as issued by the local codes enforcement officer or fire department in order to be listed. If the Safety Certificate is not provided, we will be unable to list your property.
Requirements: All students who are first-time, full-time SUNY Cobleskill students and all other 2012-2013 academic year resident students are obligated to a two-year agreement to reside on campus. Requests to terminate the Terms and Conditions of Residence Hall Occupancy Agreement (to move off campus) during the time of the Agreement must be submitted in writing to the Director of Residential Life for review.

400 West Main is a new building featuring the most competitive rates for a building in its class. The building is clean, well maintained and a safe place to live. It’s less than a quarter mile to campus and directly across the street from Stewards and Justine’s Restaurant. The building consists of four apartments, each containing four bedrooms, one full bath, large living room and kitchen. The apartments are typically rented in groups of four students but can be custom tailored to the tenants’ needs. Off street parking, trash removal, snow removal, water and sewer are included. Tenants are responsible for utilities consisting of gas and electric. The heating systems use natural gas and are very efficient. Average total cost of gas, electric, cable TV and high speed internet is less than $100 per month during the winter. Each apartment has separate hot water and heating systems which enable the tenants to set their thermostat to suit their needs, not preset by a landlord. The apartments are unfurnished which allows the tenant to bring their own bedding and avoid a potential health hazards. A tour of the building is available by appointment seven days a week.
