Why did you choose SUNY Cobleskill?

I came to Accepted Student Day and I really liked the vibe and the community; it's not too big and not too small. Cobleskill also has a strong graphic design program.

What is your major and class year?

Graphic Design B.S. and I'm a new student this year.

What clubs or organizations are you involved in?

I'm a member of the Logos Club and right now we're working to help a low income city promote healthy foods.

What is the best meal you've had on campus and where is your favorite place to eat?

My favorite place to eat is Twisted Whiskers, it's in an accessible spot, they have late night hours and really good sandwiches. It reminds me of Subway.

Why do you like living on campus?

It makes going to class easier and my RA holds a lot of events. I get to live close to my friends and to places like the library.

What is your floor like and what types of amenities does your building offer?

My roommate is cool and there is a lot of mutual respect between us. We were able to divide the room so that I feel like I still have my own space. I like the lounge outside the RA's room where I study. The third floor lounge has a pool table and a TV, so people bring their game consoles to play in there. We have access to a kitchen with an oven and a sink. We also have thermostats in our own rooms to control the heat.

Why do you like your RA?

He actually talks to me and shows interest in me. He's really friendly and helpful too.

Anything else you'd like to tell people about SUNY Cobleskill?

Living on campus is so convenient because you're five minutes away from your class buildings. I'd recommend bringing a cable wire and a cable splitter for your room so both roommates can watch what they want!
