The SUNY Cobleskill Woodsmen Club competes in traditional lumberjack sports both on and off campus. The team strives for accuracy and precision, always performed in a safe environment. Woodsmen compete in various intercollegiate competitions and public demonstrations throughout the Northeast. The 35 men and women club members come from various majors on campus and practice together four days a week under the tulle age of SUNY Cobleskill Woodsmen alum. These practices prepare them for their timed sporting events in competition such as two man cross cut, axe throw, canoe relay, bow saw, log roll, pulp toss, pole climb, and other events.
