What is a COBYCARD?
The CobyCard is your official SUNY Cobleskill I.D. card. This card is a photo identification card that has a magnetic strip on the back that allows this card
to be used as a Debit Card and to access your meal plan.
The card now contains an antenna coil and an integrated electronic chip for contactless entry to Resident Halls.
The money put on this card is called CobyCash to be spent on campus for:
• On-line vending
• The College Store
• CAS Dining areas
• Cobleskill Downtown Merchants
No cash advances. You can add funds to this card in a number of ways:
• On-line http://www.cobleskill.edu/cas
• Calling the office between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm with a credit card
• Mailing a check or money order to the office
• Stopping by the CobyCard Office in Champlin Hall
The CobyCard provides access to the following services on campus:
• Recreation Lodge
• Keyless Resident Hall entry
• Athletic Department (pool, equipment and supplies)
• Library
• Computer Lab
• Student Activities (movies, plays, concerts, picnics, special events, etc.)
• Dining Halls
• Vending
• Laundry
• College Store
The CobyCard is issued at registration for your entire career at Cobleskill. This card is your responsibility; if lost or stolen, report it to your RD or the RD on duty and any CAS employee immediately. CAS is not liable for any misuse of funds due to loss or theft. A lost, stolen or damaged card will cost $25.00 to replace.
