Cobleskill awards the following academic scholarships:
J. Roger Barber Scholarship: For incoming students majoring in a Agricultural or Natural Resources major. Students must be from a rural area of NY, and have excellent citizenship, scholarship, and leadership skills. Financial need will also be considered.
Roger Becker Agricultural Scholarship: For incoming Associate or Bachelor of Technology students majoring in Animal Science or Agricultural Business.
Hector Boiardi Memorial Scholarship: For incoming Culinary Arts or Restaurant Management majors who have evidence of academic achievement and financial need.
Abe and Rebecca Chavin Memorial Scholarship: Awarded to incoming students who are pursuing Agricultural Engineering, Dairy Production & Management or an agricultural major. Preference is given to students from Rensselaer County with consideration given to Washington and Columbia County residents. Selection is based on high school academic performance and participation in school and civic activities and is renewable.
Dairy Fashions Scholarship: Incoming students must be involved with the dairy industry or be majoring in Dairy Production & Management and demonstrate good academic potential and an involvement in extra-curricular activities, with an emphasis on those related to agriculture and dairying.
Envirothon Scholarship: Incoming students pursuing Agricultural and Natural Resources majors who participated in the annual New York State Envirothon.
William and Peter Haughton Memorial Scholarship: For incoming students majoring in Equine or Bachelor of Technology in Animal Science/Equine, with preference given to internal transfer students. Students must have a 3.25 or higher college GPA.
John Deere Scholarship: Incoming students majoring in the Agricultural Power & Machinery/John Deere program who have demonstrated academic achievement and participated in extracurricular activities.
Kristen Peck Memorial Scholarship: For incoming and continuing students who are pursuing an Agricultural and Natural Resources major who have demonstrated academic achievement, exhibit strong leadership qualities and actively participate in FFA and/or 4H.
Soil Science BT Scholarship: For incoming Agrilculture and Natural Resources or Returning Bachelor of Technology students specilaizing in Soil Science.
VICA Culinary Competition Scholarship: $1,000 to the first place winner of the Annual VICA Culinary Competition.
Kenneth E Wing Scholarship: For incoming students in an Agricultural and Natural Resources major who are from a rural area of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania or New England. Selection is based on citizenship, scholarship and leadership with extra consideration given to those with FFA or 4-H experience. Student financial need will also be considered.
