SUNY Cobleskill awards the following general scholarships:

Alumni Legacy Scholarship: For incoming students who demonstrate academic excellence and have one or more parents who are College alumni. Consideration will also be given to students who have other family members as College alumni.

Alumni Margin of Excellence Scholarship: For incoming students based on academic performance in high school and civic activities.

Arkell Hall Foundation Scholarship: For residents of Montgomery County (western Montgomery preferred) who show academic achievement and involvement in school and civic activities.

Dewar Foundation Distinguished Scholarship: Awarded to incoming students from Otsego and Delaware counties who have evidence of academic achievement.

Garrett, Myers and Friends Scholarship: For incoming students from Middleburgh High School with financial need, and academic promise. Students must achieve a B average in regents' exams including English, History, Math, and Science.

Geerken-Ciminelli Scholarship: For incoming students from Worcester Central School with financial need, and academic promise. Students must achieve a B average in regents' exams including English, History, Math, and Science.

John T. Glover II Memorial Award: For incoming students who participated in the Schoharie County Liberty Partnership Program who have good academic potential.

Loder Family Scholarship:  Incoming students with working experience at an agricultural farm with both financial need and academic promise.

Edward Mott Scholarship: Incoming students pursuing Agricultural Engineering who have demonstrated academic potential, been involved in extracurricular activities and have financial need.

O'Connor Foundation Scholarship: For incoming students from Delaware County (contiguous counties also considered) who have demonstrated academic achievement and participated in extracurricular activities. Students must achieve and maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher to renew scholarship.

Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce Scholarship:   For incoming students who are residents of Schoharie County

Schoharie County Community Scholarship: For incoming students who are residents of Schoharie County or graduates of a Schoharie County high school who have evidence of academic ability, personal initiative and financial need. Students should have a 90 or higher high school average and a 1000 or higher SAT composite or 21 or higher ACT composite.

SUNY Cobleskill Schoharie County Academic Achievement Scholarships: For valedictorians and salutatorians at Schoharie County High Schools. It is part of the college’s ongoing commitment to investing in the local community. The scholarship covers room and board for all valedictorians and salutatorians who enter into one of our baccalaureate programs. Students must maintain full-time status and a cumulative g.p.a. of 3.5 or higher, and be good campus citizens during their stay at the college to retain their scholarship. In addition, they will be Student Ambassadors, working with the Admissions Office.

Jean Webb Williams Scholarship: For incoming students who demonstrate academic achievement and participation in school and civic organizations. Students who have been dairy princesses are given preference.

Ray L. Wheeler Distinguished Scholarship: Recognizes and rewards incoming students with strong academic standing and leadership qualities. Should be in the top 10% of their high school graduating class and have a 90 or higher high school average. They should also have an SAT composite score of 1000 or higher or an ACT composite score of 21 or higher.

Wilber Bank Scholarship:   For incoming students who are residents of Schoharie County.

Peter Wilson Memorial Scholarship: Awarded to incoming Schoharie County high school graduates with demonstrated academic performance and financial need.

Phyllis Winkelman Alumni Scholarship: Awarded to incoming students based on high school academic performance and participation in school and civic activities.
