Residential Life - Student Housing

The Residential Life Program is an integral part of the educational mission of the institution. Our programs are developed to help students to grow and mature as individuals, to complement and supplement the classroom experience and to support the institution as a whole. The foundation of this quality residential experience is an environment that is safe, quiet, clean, and comfortable.

Each of our 10 residence halls is corridor-style. Nine are co-ed and one is single gender by wing: one male and one female. Each wing has one or two common, single gender bathrooms.

Residents can request to live in one of four different housing concepts: First Year Experience, Sophomore Experience, Cobleskill Traditional, and Upper Class Living/Learning.

Those residents of the First Year Experience may also request to live on a special lifestyle floor such as Sustainability, Quiet Study, Wellness, Leadership, StrengthsQuest, Diversity or Service Learning.  Those residents of the Sophomore Experience and Cobleskill Traditional housing concepts may also request to live on a special lifestyle floor such as Sustainability, Quiet Study, or Wellness/Substance-Free.
