Clerical

Positions are filled by candidates who have passed a Civil Service exam.

Keyboard Specialist tests are given about every six months in Albany or Amsterdam. Contact Job Service (518) 234-4339 (Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. to noon) or SUNY Office of Human Resources every few months to see when exams are scheduled.

Clerk, Mail and Supply Clerk, and Calculations Clerk tests are given in Albany or Amsterdam every two to three years. Maintenance

Maintenance jobs do not require an exam. Most employees start out as Cleaners and work up through promotion to jobs in the trades, grounds, and power plant. Applications may be obtained in the Office of Human Resources, Knapp Hall, Room 211.

Food Service

The Cobleskill Auxilliary Services is a separate corporation on the college campus which operates the dining services, College Bookstore and the college recreation area. Positions available may include professional, clerical, dining services, sales, cashiers, and maintenance, some of which are nine-month jobs. Applications may be obtained from the Cobleskill Auxilliary Services Office, Prentice Hall, Room 106 or from the Director of Dining Services, Champlin Hall, Room 111.
