FACULTY POSITION IN AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS
POSITION
Tenure track, 10-month appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural Business/Animal Science beginning August 2008.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach Associate and Bachelors level courses related to Agricultural Business and Economics with an emphasis on finance, economics, management, agricultural education, and marketing. In addition, the individual will be involved with curriculum development, student advisement, internship supervision, student clubs, department and campus wide committees, student recruitment, and the Agricultural Business industry. Evening and/or Saturday classes may be part of teaching responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ph.D. in related field of study and Masters Degree in Agricultural Business or Agricultural Economics required. The ideal candidate would have demonstrated competence in the applied, practical aspects of the agricultural industry. Teaching experience and willingness to work with a diverse student population and the agricultural industry in New York State is preferred.
Salary Range:
$45,000 - $52,000. Employee benefits with the State University of New York are excellent.
