FACULTY POSITION IN APPLIED PSYCHOLOGY
POSITION
Tenure-track, 10-month appointment as Assistant Professor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences for the new Bachelors of Science in Applied Psychology degree beginning August 2008.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Preferred areas of teaching experience and research are community psychology, health, education and public policy. Duties also include participation in departmental and college leadership activities and advisement of students. Teaching load is five courses per semester.
QUALIFICATIONS
A PhD in Psychology is required. Candidate must provide evidence of excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level. Applicant must have demonstrated capacity to conduct research and to include undergraduates in said research.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Salary range: $40,000 to $50,000, dependent on education and experience. Employee benefits with the State University of New York are excellent.
