Study Abroad

SUNY Cobleskill students are encouraged to consider spending a semester or summer abroad in a Study Abroad program. While a Study Abroad experience adds value well in excess of its cost, many students and families are not able to meet the cost with their own resources. While limited, there are scholarships available to support students during their Study Abroad experience.

Students who qualify for a federal Pell grant can apply for the
Gilman Scholarship for study abroad.

US citizens may apply for a federal student aid loan for study at many United Kingdom (UK) universities. US citizens fund study in the UK through a variety of sources, including personal finances, scholarships, loans and work. Click here for etailed information on funding.
