Orange Tie Dinner Dance Celebrates Centennial Year
March 21, 2011
SUNY Cobleskill hosts the Orange Tie Dinner Dance in celebration of the College’s charter centennial year on Saturday, April 2 at 6 p.m. in Bouck Hall Ballroom. This year’s event, sponsored by the SUNY Cobleskill Foundation, includes a tribute to the institution’s 11 leaders. Current President Dr. Donald P. Zingale will be joined by Presidents Emeriti Dr. Thomas J. Haas and Dr. Neal V. Robbins.
Proceeds from the evening will help build the Foundation’s Annual Fund. The Annual Fund supports many campus initiatives, including the Title III Grant Endowment designated to faculty and staff professional development, and all scholarship funds held within the Foundation and Alumni Association.
The night features culinary delights beginning with a champagne welcome, followed by a sit-down dinner featuring local products prepared by students of SUNY Cobleskill’s Culinary Arts Program and Cobleskill Auxiliary Services. Body & Soul provides the entertainment, with a cash bar available throughout the festivities and floral arrangements designed by SUNY Cobleskill Plant Science students.
Seating is limited. For ticket and sponsorship information, contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at 518-255-5524 or e-mail email@example.com.
