Campus Child Care Center Hosts Fourth Annual Children's March

March 23, 2011

SUNY Cobleskill’s Campus Child Care Center hosts the fourth annual Children’s March in recognition of Week of the Young Child on Wednesday, April 13 at 10 a.m. This year’s event features a special performance by musician, composer and educator Skip West.

The day’s activities also include a small petting zoo, games, crafts, book fair, and an on-site fire truck. The College’s Early Childhood Club will be promoting early literacy with all children in attendance receiving a free book while supplies last.

West is a multi-faceted musician and educator who mixes a variety of musical styles with compelling, kid-centered themes in his concerts and workshops. Drawing on years of experience as a teacher, entertainer, composer and musician, West brings contemporary and traditional musical styles to his songs.
