September 21, 2011

SUNY Cobleskill will host a "Zumbathon" on Thursday, Sept. 29, from 7 – 10 p.m., in the College's Neal Robbins Field House. The event, which is open to the public, will benefit Schoharie County residents affected by recent flooding in the aftermaths of Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee.

In addition to any monetary donations, the following items will be accepted (new only): gift cards (including Wal-Mart and gas cards), fans, cat food, rug shampoo, bedding, diapers, baby wipes, disinfectant wipes, paper towels, sweatshirts, toilet paper, infant soy formula, squeegees, undergarments, dish soap, batteries, laundry detergent, non-perishable food items, new blankets and bath towels.

All proceeds will be given to the Schoharie County Community Action Program
