SUNY Cobleskill’s Communiversity Event Honors Disaster Relief Volunteers

February 8, 2012

SUNY Cobleskill hosts its fourth annual Communiversity event on Saturday, Feb. 18, at 6 p.m., in Bouck Ballroom. This year, the College presents a disaster relief volunteer tribute and honors individuals from around Schoharie County who donated countless hours of service in support of disaster relief efforts.

The festivities begin with cocktails and a Texas barbecue, and continue at 7:30 p.m., with a performance by Loose Cannon, one of the most powerful modern country acts in the Northeast.

Country Western dress is encouraged, and prizes will be awarded for the best dressed couple. The catering will be provided by Cobleskill Auxiliary Services, Inc., with support from SUNY Cobleskill’s Department of Culinary Arts, Hospitality and Tourism.
