Why did you choose SUNY Cobleskill?
Initially, I chose SUNY Cobleskill due to its proximity to my house. However, I also had a few friends who were in the Computer Science major here, and they had raved about some of the teachers they had.

What is your favorite place to be (on campus or in the community) here in Cobleskill?
On campus, I'm quite fond of the Student Life Center. In town, whenever I'm just hanging out, I'm almost always at Coby's.

How do you keep busy outside of the classroom?
I'm in Student Government, which takes up a fair amount of my time. I also play drums for a local rock band, and I keep a part-time job during the semester.

What are your future plans for after SUNY Cobleskill?
I am transferring to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, to complete my undergraduate work, and then go on to do postgraduate work at Cornell University.

How has SUNY Cobleskill challenged you?
The greatest challenge for me has been time management. Balancing a full course load with Student Government responsibilities, a job, and a social life isn't as easy as it sounds.

What opportunities has SUNY Cobleskill afforded you?
Without even going into the plethora of student organizations that you can get involved in, I'd have to say that I think that the variety of opportunities available here is one of the college's strongest points. For example, I have yet to have a teacher who isn't willing to spend time with me outside of class, whether it's to help me with a project or just for coffee (Dr. Mazzucco especially). The teachers I've had have all been interested in my studies, my interest, and my plans, and even though it sounds a little cliche, it makes a huge difference.

Fun Fact: I was homeschooled straight out of kindergarten and took my first college class at the age of 12.
