I chose Cobleskill for many different reasons. One of the reasons being the great opportunity and learning experience Cobleskill offers students especially those in my major (pre-vet). Being from New York City, it is very difficult to find any hands-on experience with large animals. Another reason I chose Cobleskill was its friendly and peaceful environment; a really big advantage when studying for exams and not having distractions. Also, the classrooms are small and the teachers are always so willing to help.
What is your
favorite memory (people, places or things) about your time at SUNY Cobleskill?
My favorite place to be would have to be the
agriculture side, where all the farm animals are. It is very interesting to
observe the animals behavior and take advantage of having the opportunity to be
able to interact with them.
Is there a professor who inspires you in
and/or out of the classroom?
There are many
professors that are inspiring in their own different ways. However, I must say
Dr. Shelley is an inspiring professor because she enjoys her job here at
SUNY Cobleskill, she is highly knowledgeable on the subjects she teaches and has a
great fun personality to be around in and out of the classroom.
What are your future
plans for after SUNY Cobleskill?
My future plans
after SUNY Cobleskill is to study abroad in St. Kitts to study Veterinarian
medicine through the college's transfer program.
How has
SUNY Cobleskill challenged you?
SUNY Cobleskill has
been the building blocks to my future and has taught me what the real world
will be like. SUNYnCobleskill is also a school with lots of cultural diversity
and it has been a great experience interacting with people from different parts
of the world and learning what their lives are like.

Live. Learn. Achieve.
