Why did you choose SUNY Cobleskill?
I chose SUNY Cobleskill for many different reasons. One reason was because I felt safe and at home. The second reason is because it is a phenomenal school with tons of extracurricular activities and some of the best teachers  in the state. I also love the fact that there is always an option to transfer and the SUNY Cobleskill staff has been more then helpful with my upcoming transition to college. The last reason is because it is in the perfect location for traveling around the state .This year I will be doing a lot of traveling while serving as the New York FFA State Secretary.

Is there a professor who inspires you in and/or out of the classroom?
While visiting the campus so much this year I have come in contact with many different professors. After talking with them it always seems to just hammer home the reasons why I need to be at SUNY Cobleskill and that I made the right decision. One teacher that has really stood out to me was Dr. Jason Evans. This past May my State Officer Team and I had the privilege of having a dinner with him at the Goblet's house. The fact that none of us had really ever met him before beside a brief hello or what not , he remembered some of our names. We sat and talked with him for hours about school, classes we should take, and life in general. The fact that he was not working but still took the time to answer any questions we had and just chat with a bunch of teenagers and not make us feel intimidated really impressed me. I cannot wait to take some of his classes in the fall.

How do you keep busy outside of the classroom?
Well, I spend most of my time doing FFA stuff and traveling to events. Honestly I wouldn’t want to spend my time any other way. When I am not doing that I am working and hanging out with my friends . I am a go-go-go person.

What opportunities has SUNY Cobleskill afforded you?
SUNY Cobleskill had offered me the chance to further my education in agriculture and be a productive member of society. SUNY Cobleskill has also offered me fantastic scholarships and support in my transition as an incoming freshmen.
